Aisling O'Connor is a Professional Celebrant and Solemniser, registered in Ireland. Aisling offers her services nationwide, so when we got in contact, we knew that we needed to make sure Aisling was set up with a website and booking system that would not only gain local business, but also business all over Ireland.

Aisling is one of the most accommodating Celebrants in the country. We needed her audience to see this. The wide range of services, along with the relaxed nature of her ceremonies, makes aisling a joy for all - and she deserved a website that made couples feel this way from the get go.

We set out to build not just a high performing website - but an online identity for her business.

Theme, font and colour scheme

For Aisling O’Connor, we wanted her website to capture the warmth, elegance, and joy that comes with being a wedding celebrant. The layout is soft and welcoming, designed to give couples a sense of comfort and trust from the very first glance. We built the site around a light and graceful theme, ensuring the content feels personal, heartfelt, and celebratory.

In terms of colors, we leaned into floral tones — gentle pinks, light peach, and natural greens — to reflect the beauty of weddings and nature. The background uses a soft shade from this palette, keeping the site light and inviting, while black content text provides easy readability. For subtle accents, we added touches of wood-brown, bringing a grounded, natural feel that ties everything together.

The fonts were chosen for clarity and warmth. For headers, we used Lato, giving a modern yet elegant presence to key sections. For content, we went with Open Sans, which is highly readable and flows nicely against the soft color scheme. Together, these fonts ensure the site feels approachable while still professional.

As a celebrant, much of her work is about creating unforgettable moments for couples, and nothing communicates this better than the imagery of her ceremonies. We wanted a way to showcase these photos that felt interactive yet elegant, giving visitors the chance to really experience her work.

The lightbox gallery allows users to click on any image and instantly expand it into a larger, detailed view without leaving the page. From there, visitors can browse through the gallery seamlessly, appreciating the atmosphere, emotion, and beauty of Aisling’s ceremonies.
